Mildred Murrell

Mildred Murrell, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of the Lord, was born on May 1, 1936, and passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on March 23, 2026.

Born with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love, Mildred devoted her entire life to her family and her church. For more than 40 years, she joyfully served as the church pianist, filling the sanctuary with beautiful music that uplifted countless hearts and glorified God. Her quiet strength, unwavering faith, and loving presence touched everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Bill Murrell; her parents; her six siblings; and her son-in-law, Richard Schroeder. She now rejoices in a glorious reunion with them in Heaven.

Mildred is survived by her four children: Mike Murrell (Karol), Sandi Slepion (Steven), Brenda Schroeder, and James Murrell; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her love into each one of them.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m.

at Bulman Miles Globe Chapel

Burial will follow the service at Globe City Cemetery, 1700 Hackney Avenue, Globe, Arizona 85501.

A reception will follow at First Baptist Church, 3654 Gordon Street, Miami, Arizona 85539.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mildred's granddaughter, Melanie Harrison, and to the compassionate staff at THEMA Health Services for their loving care and support during her final days.

Mildred's legacy of faith, music, and family love will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
