We are Honoring our gorgeous mom, our hero, our sweet angel queen.  The personification of kindness and generosity.  She was the most caring, giving, best mom, wife, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend and person. The most loving soul, known for her funny personality, filled with a beautiful passion to help others. She was known for her strong will, love and support for her family. She had a heart of gold. Always very compassionate, helpful and welcoming.  She was so friendly, real and strong.  She had many beautiful ways, always had your back and made you feel seen and wanted.  A friend to many, always there to offer support, wisdom and endless love.  A selfless individual to a fault.  She was an animal lover, always feeding and bird watching and nature lover, a free-spirit.  So much fun to be around, she had an infectious spirit and warmth.

Millie was born in Pueblo, Colorado on December 1, 1956, to Rose and Amadeo Madrid.  She was the oldest girl of nine children.  She attended elementary school in Colorado then moved to Mammoth, AZ as a teenager.  She graduated from San Manuel High School.  She then moved to Miami, AZ and met Carlos Ozuna, her former husband, married over 30 plus years.  They had two beloved children.  She raised them and loved her family and spending time with them, her kids were her entire world.  She loved babies, she loved making people laugh and helping whenever with whatever she could.  She liked going out and having fun, going to the casino, and trying new restaurants.  She loved listening to music, dancing, crocheting, doing search word puzzles, and putting puzzles together, playing games, arts and crafts and decorating.  She also enjoyed watching the Spanish Dating show Enamorandos and watching action, comedy, mystery movies.  She like taking care of her plants and cuddling with her chihuahua Peaches.  Always cooking up her favorite foods, chili beans, egg salad, sopa and tamales.  She worked various jobs, being a wonderful mom and homemaker, babysitting, cleaning, cooking and factory working at the Gomez Tortilla Factory and the Republic Plastics.

Millie departed from this world and was welcomed into the arms of our Lord on October 20, 2024, at the age of 67.  Her legacy is one of unwavering devotion to her family, a testament to  the beautiful life she lived and the countless lives she's touched. Until we meet again, we celebrate the life of a astounding woman who was a beacon of kindness, generosity and unconditional love.  Millie's memory will be treasured forever as we hold her close to our hearts and remember the light she brought into this world as the world is a little less bright without her in it.  She will be deeply missed.

She preceded in joining the Lord by her mom Rose Madrid. Dad, Amadeo Madrid. Brother, Johnny Madrid, Brother Steve (Lydia) Madrid.  She is survived by her daughter, Juanita Madrid-Ozuna and son, Julian Madrid-Ozuna. Three grandchildren, Jazlynn Ozuna, Julie Ozuna and James Ozuna. Two sisters, Betty Martinez (Jesus) and Lillian Utley (John) Four brothers, Manuel Madrid, Arnold Madrid (Maria), Lorenzo Madrid and Andrew Madrid (Joyce).  Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, family and friends and her chihuahua Peaches
