Nancy J. Friend passed away Monday, November 25, 2024, at the age of 73. Nancy was born May 19, 1951 to Willard and Kathryn Friend in Logan, Ohio. She moved to Mesa, Arizona in 1957, and to Miami, Arizona in 1962.  She graduated from Miami High School in 1969, she was a member of the National Honor Society.  She attended U of A for 1-year before going to St Mary's Hospital to train and become a registered X-Ray Tech, she continued her education to become a registered Ultrasound Tech.  She worked at St Mary's hospital for 40 years.  Nancy never married or had children; her pets were her children.

Nancy had a love of the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing in the White Mountains.

Nancy is survived by her sister Susan Friend, niece Kristy Koval (Kevin), 2 great-nephews Brandon Koval and Mario Friend and great-niece Heather Koval.

She is preceeded in death by her parents Kathryn and Willard Friend and her nephew Kelly Friend.

She will always be in our hearts and thoughts, and deeply missed.
