Nellie G. Escovedo, 97, of Superior, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 27, 2023. Nellie was born January 5, 1926 in Steins, NM to parents Pedro and Maria Gonzales.

Nellie was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, loved singing in the choir and taught Sunday School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and believed in her "Savior."

Nellie is preceded in death by her parents: Pedro and Maria Gonzales, her husband Jose H. Escovedo, her son Christopher G. Escovedo and her two brothers: Eufemio and Raymond Gonzales.

Nellie is survived by her children: Lily Salas, Theresa Montgomery, Robert Escovedo, and Sylvia Davis. She also leaves behind 26 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Nellie will be deeply missed; she was the heart of her family. Our hearts are broken, although we find "comfort" that she is at "Peace" and with her Lord and Loved ones we have lost.
