Nola (Nicki) Rice, age: 89 died 12/12/2020. She leaves her husband Clarence (Tige) Rice and four adult children and their families. Nicki was born in Pennsylvania she was the only child of a retired movie producer and his wife. He was a serious sports fisherman and the family traveled with a trailer south to Florida in the winter and north to Canada in the summer with a stop at the family home each way.

Nicki attended school in a dozen different states. She was an avid reader and competed in sports winning awards at horse shows, swim meets, sailboat races, golf, and especially bowling. After college she married her first husband and was a partner in a restaurant in Kansas City for fifteen years. When her three oldest were in college she divorced and moved to Santa Fe with her youngest child and bought a small ranch and horses.

To get acquainted she volunteered at several organizations a pastime she started as a teen and enjoyed for over sixty years. She started to travel the world and even going around the world on the QE2 (Queen Elizabeth 2). In 1986 she married Clarence who raised cattle on two ranches and hauled horses for client's coast to coast, a life she enjoyed too. They sold their cattle and moved to Globe where he was raised, bought a house, a trailer and visited all the states except Hawaii. She loved her family, her dogs, her books, and especially the chance to explore new places.
