Paul Christopher Pino was born on December 28, 1965 to his loving parents, Diego and Felicitas Pino in Kearny, Arizona.  He was known by his middle name "Chris" to his friends and family.  He is preceded in death by his father, Diego Pino and his brother, Frank Pino whom he loved and adored.  Chris is survived by his loving, caring and devoted mother, Felicitas Pino, his loving, caring and devoted son, Diego Christopher Pino who was the center of his universe, his loving, caring and devoted brother, George Louis Pino, his loving and caring sister, Kari Pino, his loving and caring niece, Rochelle Perezchica Goldman, and his loving and caring great-niece, Amae Perezchica.

Chris was raised in Superior, Arizona and he had many friends, the majority of which he has known since his childhood.  His friends also lovingly referred to him by his nickname "Tut".  Chris was known for his great and fun-loving personality, lightning speed wittiness, contagious laughter, great sense of humor, and his beautiful smile.  Chris excelled at football which was his favorite sport.  He also enjoyed wrestling, weightlifting and working out.

Chris attended university at ASU, and also at MCC where he held an "All College Bench Press Record". Chris was a great cook and operated two family-owned restaurants, "Diego's Mexican Food  Restaurant & Cantina" alongside his loving parents, Diego and Felicitas, and his loving brother, George in Queen Valley, Arizona and Cottonwood, Arizona.  Chris was a trained and skilled architectural draftsman and he also worked in the smelter for Freeport McMoran in Globe, Arizona.

Chris had many skills but his greatest skills were his parenting skills.  He was a great father and mentor to his son, Diego Christopher, guiding him and instilling in him family values, love, respect for self, others and country, sports and strength.  Although Chris was very ill, it was his dream and ambition in life to remain on this earth long enough to see Diego Christopher graduate next year from Miami High School and from boot camp with the U.S. Marines.  Through our faith in Jesus Christ, we believe Chris will be with his son in spirit rooting him on, and guiding him throughout his journey in life.

Chris died peacefully on October 3, 2023, in the presence and comfort of Jesus Christ and his heavenly angels, with his loving and devoted son, Diego Christopher by his side, and in the company of his loving and caring family.

Chris we love you so much, we will always remember you and keep you in our hearts. Diego Christopher will make you proud. Through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we know that we will see you again and will be reunited with you in heaven, rest in peace.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. with rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m., and Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 11 Church Ave., Superior, AZ 85173. Interment to follow mass at Fairview Cemetery in Superior, Arizona.
