Rafael (Ralph) R. Sandoval, 83, of San Pedro passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Foothills Rehabilitation Center in Tucson, AZ. Family and loved ones surrounded him at the end of his life. Ralph was born in San Pedro to Felix and Jesus R. Sandoval on March 13, 1938.

Ralph was a lifelong resident of San Pedro. He was married to Maria R. Cruz of Safford, AZ on July 8, 1967. Ralph and Mary Rose loved and raised their 4 children together. He loved spending time with all his grandchildren. His hobby was playing golf. Ralph was a devout Catholic. Ralph worked at ASARCO for forty-one and a half years and retired January 29, 1999.

Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Carmen, Enedina, and Oralia, brother Frank and his beautiful granddaughter Marissa. He is survived by his wife, children Rafael Jr. (Bryce), Gabriel (Veronica), David (Christine) and Jessica (Freddie). He leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
