Ralph Robert Magana, a United States Air Force Veteran, a Copper Miner of 29 years in Superior, AZ and a Correctional Officer of the State of Arizona for 13 years, age 85, of Chandler, Arizona passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, March 16, 2021.

Ralph was born July 21,1935 in Jerome, AZ. Ralph married Gloria in Superior, AZ and started a family. They were married for 65 years and had six kids together. Ralph loved to spend time exploring the outdoors and enjoyed taking his kids with him in his 55 Chevrolet Truck often times hunting deer and rabbits together. He enjoyed working with his hands including fixing cars and doing projects around the house.

Ralph will join his parents, Raphael and Margaret Magana and sister Rose Montijo in heaven. He will also be reunited with his son, Arthur, who went to be with the Lord at an early age.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Gloria Magana; son, Reuben, his wife Jacqueline and their daughters Araceli and Ariana. Son Ralph Edward II, his son Anthony Jacob, his wife and their three daughters. Son Roy Magana, daughter Ann Magana and her daughter Kaile, daughter Elizabeth Malmquist and her husband Randy Malmquist. Grandson, Arthur II and his wife Julie Magana and their children Brody and Willow Mae, granddaughter Jessica and her husband Jarret Randall and their children Sterling and Ayla. He leaves behind his brother Chris Magana, sisters Lupe Gutierrez and Mary Vindiola, among several other relatives and friends whom he loved and adored dearly.

Ralph was a strong man with a big heart and a sense of humor, who would leave boxes of food on his neighbors' front steps. He will be known for always giving away oranges to everyone. He will be dearly missed by all who love him. "To you, O lord, I lift my soul"
