Richard William Acuna of Hayden, AZ, passed away in his home on Saturday, October 12, 2019. He was 49 years old.

Richard was born on November 16, 1969 in Kearny, AZ to loving parents Gilbert and Robin (Williams) Acuna. He grew up with 3 siblings, his brother Gabriel and sisters Regina and Bridget. He graduated from Desert View High School and then served 13 years in the United States Army. After serving our country, Richard went to work for ASARCO and was employed with them for 11 years.

Richard married Britta Juchem and they had 2 children, Marisa and Lukas Acuna.

Richard enjoyed hunting. He enjoyed watching the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks and Arizona Cardinals. He spent his spare time with his dad at the casino.

Richard is survived by his father, Gilbert R. Acuna, wife Britta Acuna, and children Marisa and Lukas Acuna. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
