Richard Ormus Sharp Sr was born in San Manuel, Arizona on April 2, 1967 and passed away on December 13, 2024, at the age of 57.

Richard was a Mammoth native. Born, raised, and died in the community he loved overlooking the Galiuros. He married the love of his life, Estela, on August 26, 1989 and began growing their family soon after. They had 6 children together. Richard was a family man and an active member of the Catholic Church. He loved being home with his wife, kids, and especially his grandchildren. Rick was a risk taker and a problem solver. From coaching baseball to doing gainers into the river and everything in between. He was a very social man, bringing smiles and laughter everywhere he went.

He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Larkin Sharp, and mother, Marcy Gallego (Nay). His daughter, Princess Diane Sharp, and son, Richard Ormus Sharp Jr.

He is survived by his wife Maria Estela Sharp (Quintanilla). Daughters; Maria Eugenia Sharp, Armnia Lee Sharp, Amber Nicole Sharp, and son, Joshua Isaiah Sharp. He had 9 grandchildren.

There will be a potluck luncheon at the community center in Mammoth following the services. For any donations please reach out to any of his three daughters.
