Rita "Quata" Bon Rios,78, passed away peacefully in Arizona in the early morning on 08/14/23 after a short sudden battle with cancer.

Quata was Born January 8, 1945 in Caborca Sonora to the late Maria Vega born. She was second youngest of nine children. In the 1964 Quata became the beloved wife to Angel "Kelo" Rios they spent 47 loving years together until he entered into eternal rest. She was a devoted mother to Martin Rios, Antonio Rios, Rebecca Rios – Ponce, and Frank Rios. An attentive and loving grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Those close to Quata will remember her as outspoken, blunt, strong-willed, sassy, humorous, hospitable, and able to light up even the darkest rooms. She dedicated her life to her Catholic faith, helping raise her grandchildren, and opening her home to and family and anyone in need. Her hobbies included trying her look at the casino and playing aggravation alongside her "Golden girls friends", taking camping trips with family, hiking for picnics to the Cross, and spending days at the river listening to Ramon Ayala while sipping an adult beverage.

She is preceded in to death by her mother, husband, granddaughter Angelica Javae Rios and great grandson Joseph Anthony Rios-Lopez, five brothers, and three sisters.

Quata will be deeply missed and never forgotten by all the knew and loved her.
