Robert "Gato" Escovedo

Dear Family and Friends, we are saddened to announce on November 2, 2023, Robert Gonzales Escovedo passed away at the age of 69 years old.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Jose and Nellie Escovedo (Superior, Arizona) and his brothers: Christopher Escovedo (Superior), Ruben and Eddie Escovedo (California) and his sister Nellie Vega (California).

He is survived by is four sisters: Lily (Benny) Salas, Theresa (Bob) Montgomery, Sylvia (Neal) Davis, and Rosie Castro (California).

Robert was born on September 24,1954 in Ray, Arizona. At an early age he "Loved Exploring "outdoors. Later he moved with his family to Superior and loved the scenery. He found that climbing the Picket Post and the Apache Leap and other mountains in that area had such beautiful views. His favorite site was just west of Tucson, Arizona, the Chiricahua Mountains.

The gravesite services will be held, Saturday September 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.  in the Fairview Cemetery, 231 W. Sunset Dr. Superior, AZ 85173
