Roberta Vargas Contreras , 58, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025, at our home surrounded by family and close friends in Willis, Texas. She was born on August 23, 1966, in Superior, Arizona, to George and Mary Encinas; Gregorio Aguilar. After graduating from Superior High School in 1985, she pursued a career in banking and after 20 years, she became a full-time mom. She loved meeting people building her circle of friends, loved being called Nana and caring for her grandkids, and loved decorating for all the seasons, especially Christmas. She loved her relationship with the Lord and enjoyed helping during the church fiestas in Superior, she taught catechism and looked forward to attending church.

Roberta leaves behind her loving Husband, Patrick Contreras and they were married for 30 years but together for 40 years total; children, Patrick Contreras Jr.; Gabrielle Contreras; Victoria Contreras; Marcos Contreras; Monique Contreras; Mother, Mary Encinas; Sisters, Virginia Vargas, Renee Vargas and Georgina (Jason) Hunter; Brothers, Greg Aguilar, Dino Aguilar.

She is preceded in death by her father, George Encinas, Gregorio Aguilar; her niece Angelina Vargas.

Her celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the Eickenhorst Funeral Service located at 12412 FM 2854 Road, Conroe, Texas 77304. The viewing will start at 1:00 PM and the service will begin at 2:00 PM.

She will be taken home to Superior, Arizona for burial, on February 21, 2025, there will be a viewing from 6:00 PM, followed by a rosary services at 7:00 PM, at the Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 60 Church Avenue, Superior, Arizona 85173. There were viewing from 6:00 PM

On February 22, 2025, there will be a viewing from 9:00 AM, followed by a mass at 10:00 AM at the Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, followed by her internment at the Fairview Cemetery located at 300 West Sunset Drive, Superior, Arizona 85173. A reception will follow at the Los Hermanos hall located at 835 US-60, Superior, Arizona 85173.
