Rosalind Mae Dunham Padilla, 79, of Kearny, AZ went home to join our Lord on Saturday, August 15, 2020. Rosalind was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Oct 23, 1940 at the Presbyterian Hospital. Dr Royer delivered her to loving parents Claude Forrest Dunham and Marjorie Lois Winkler. Rosalind had 4 Siblings: Ronald Louis (Linda Martin), Nancy Lois (Jerry Graham), Daniel Albert (Dinorah Puig) and William Forrest.

Rosalind attended Valley High School in Albuquerque Freshman & Sophomore years. The family moved to Farmington New Mexico in 1956. She graduated from
Farmington High School 1958. She then attended Western New Mexico University 1958-1962 and received a bachelors degree in Home Economics Education and a Minor in Journalism. She completed her Masters in 1969 from Northern Arizona University in Special Education.

Rosalind married Art Padilla on May 30, 1970. She had 5 children; Danny (Stacey), Art (Priscilla), Kenny (Tiffany), Kim (James) Holmes, Carla (Michael)Ramirez .

Rosalind had 14 Grand Children; Matthew, Alex, Anthony, Bernie, Jacob, Ben, Gina, Veronica, Melinda, Angel, Elizabeth, Vanessa, Josiah, Daniel, IsabeI1a, and 16 great grandchildren; Thalia, Anthony, Ysabela, Andrea, Norah, Caleb, Hannah,
Tony, Elianah, Chloe, Raylen Christopher, Miah Jaden Abel, Leslie, and Kash.

Rosalind was a teacher for 41 years. She taught Home Economics at Hayden High School from 1962-1967. She taught Special Education at Hayden Primary School from 1967-69 She was employed by Pinal County Schools from 1969 until 2001. After Retirement she taught Ray Schools Preschool 2 more years.

Rosalind belonged to different clubs and groups including Who's Who American Universities, Member of Zeta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma. She also joined with her students in 1969 Arizona Special Olympics. Her students were among the first group to participate in the Arizona State Games. She also served as District Coordinator for Special Olympics. As County coordinator she was in charge of planning and carrying out track and field events. Three of which were held in Kearny. She was also a Copper Basin Chamber of Commerce member serving as president for 10-12 years. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church both Hayden and Kearny serving. as UMYF leader, Sunday School Teacher, Lay Leader. She was an active member of North Eastern Pinal County ARC since 1969.

Rosalind is Preceded in death by parents Claude and Marjorie Dunham, Sister Nancy Dunham Graham, Brother William Forrest, Husband Art, Paternal grandparents William & Cora Dunham and Maternal grandparents Albert &Rosa Lena Winkler.
