Ruben R. Tellez, 69, of Superior, AZ, passed away on February 14, 2023 surrounded by his family. Ruben, known as Ray by many, was born on August 24, 1953 in Willcox, AZ to parents Ramon and Rebecca (Castillo) Tellez.

In his youth, Ray was a talented baseball player known as the "Home-run King".  He worked for the copper mine and then moved on to The Boeing Company where he retired after 32 years.

Ray loved to be outdoors.  He loved camping and four wheeling out in the desert.  He loved his family.  Ray was a loving man.  He had a big heart and loved helping whoever he could.

Ray is preceded into death by his parents, brother Tony Tellez and sister Rebecca Jo Lopez and many more.  Ray is survived by his 3 children:  April, Veronica and Ruben Tellez.  He also leaves behind 5 Grandchildren: Richard, Anthony, Ramon Ramirez, Krista Jo Lopez and Jewelysa Nunez and 2 Great-Grandchildren: Avianna and Emiliano Ramirez.
