Sandra Metzger age 73 of Globe, passed away peacefully on July 13,2020 in Phoenix, AZ.  Sandra was born on December 1, 1946 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to Jack and Florence Metzger. Sandra was a very devout Christian who loved her Faith and always kept her Bible near. She loved music of all kinds but for those who knew her, it was no secret that she loved Elvis Presley. Sandra had many talents of which included doing Arts and Crafts and Baking, and even won awards at the Gila County Fair for her famous Banana Bread. Sandra was an amazing person with a smile that could make anyone else feel the joy that she had, with an infectious laugh that filled almost any room she entered. Sandra was a very social person that enjoyed spending her time in Service, volunteering with the Salvation Army and notably, served bell ringing during the Holidays for many years in the Globe area. In her younger years, she was a Candy Striper at a local hospital in Pennsylvania.  One thing she truly loved was her family and enjoyed spending time with her children Christopher, Faith and Laura and adored her grandchildren.  She was a loving Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother and Friend.  Sandra's loving and kind nature will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. It is with God's Grace that you were brought to us and now with the same Grace that he has called you home. Rest in Peace Mommy. We love you always.

Sandra is preceded in death by her Father Jack Metzger, Brother Robert (Bobby) Metzger, Sister Barbara Whittaker and Grandson Eric Tellez.  She is survived by her Mother Florence Metzger (96) of Pennsylvania, Brother John (Ginny)Metzger of Pennsylvania, Children Christopher Davis of Globe, AZ  Faith A Faith of Globe, AZ and Laura Haverstock of Peoria, AZ.  In addition, she is also survived by her 3 grandchildren Leandra Tellez, Steven Tellez and Gabriel Haverstock as well as her three great-grandchildren Nyrie Tellez, Alina Tellez and Landyn Johnson.
