Sandra Kay Seller/Nelson, "Sandy" 82, passed away on October 27, 2023, in Springerville, Arizona. Sandy was born on June 1, 1941, in Youngstown, Ohio to Robert and Janet Curl. Shortly after graduating high school, she met and married Donald Bruce Seller. Together they had two sons, Don Alan Seller and Thomas Wayne Seller. They made their home and raised their sons in Kearny, Az. They remained happily married for many years until Dons passing in 1997.

Several years later, Sandy married Victor "Vic" Nelson and became stepmother to three daughters Annette Miles, Tammy Willis, and Kathy Seiloff. Together they joined families and shared 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. They spent many happy years together until Vic's passing in 2018.

She and Vic had a place to escape the summer heat up north in Nutrioso and this is where they seemed to be the most content. She loved having big family gatherings with barbecues, horseshoes, music, playing cards and catching up with one another. Sandy loved being outdoors and gathering Indian artifacts, she had acquired quite the collection. She was an avid reader and spent lots of time at the local library. She enjoyed embroidery, baking, puzzles, watching football, and cheering on her Oakland Raiders. She loved animals, especially her dogs. She had a soft spot for Australian shepherds and had several throughout the years. She could be spotted around town at the same time everyday walking her dog or possibly vice versa. She loved them dearly and they were all very fortunate to be in her care. Sandy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She was very loved and will be deeply missed. May she rest in eternal peace.
