Santos Gomez Hernandez, 78, passed away on September 17, 2022 in Globe, AZ to parents Santos and Cecilia Enriqueta Hernandez. Santos was baptized and raised with Catholic faith. Santos was born August 22, 1944 in Superior, AZ. Santos attended Globe High School and participated in track and played the saxophone.

After high school Santos moved to Los Angeles, CA and worked as a machinest at Ohio Machine Shop. He later moved back to the Globe/Miami area. There he worked as a miner in various mines including Magma Mine and as a diesel mechanic at the Railroad where he retired.

Santos enjoyed working out, weight lifting, running, boating, waterskiing, dancing, camping and riding motorcycles and ATV's.

Santos is preceded in death by his parents, Santos and Cecilia Enriqueta Hernandez, sister Cecelia Hernandez Montijo, Brothers Raymond Hernandez and Lewis Hernandez.

Santos is survived by his brothers Henry Hernandez, Robert Hernandez, and Alex Hernandez; sister Gloria Hernandez; Children Anthony Santos Hernandez, Paul Joseph Hernandez, Santos Hernandez, Lisa Hernandez, Jennifer Hatfield, Julie Hernandez, Tricia Joseph, and Daniel Hernandez; Grandchildren Eric Steven Hernandez, Emily Antonise Hernandez, Paul Joseph Hernandez, Jr., Alejandro Hernandez, Sierra Alyssa Hernandez, Sophia Aliyah Hernandez, Samuel Alejandro Hernandez, T.J. Cuellar, Joshua Cuellar, Hayden Hatfield, Ava Hatfield, Landen Fikus, Mia Joseph, Jaslene Joseph, Cameron Joseph, William Westerman, and Avery Westerman. He also leaves behind Great Grandchildren Eric Isaiah Hernandez, Sophia Rose Hernandez, Ezekiel Bryan Hernandez, Charlotte Joey Hernandez and Ellie Maya Hernandez.
