Socorro Ramirez Alvarado entered eternal rest peacefully surrounded by her family on December 18, 2022 at her home in Superior, Arizona at the age of 93.

Socorro was born on June 28, 1929 to Inez Cano Ramirez and Refugio Ramirez in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Socorro was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Socorro was hard working, kind and generous in her love for her children and grandchildren, she made sure her home was always open to any family in need and there was always food on the table. Socorro was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by so many.

Socorro is preceded by her husband of 65 years, Ascencion Alvarado whom she met in Juarez, Mexico and went on to have twelve children. Socorro is also preceded by three of her children Rodolfo Ramirez Alvarado, Salvador Ramirez Alvarado and Edward Ramirez Alvarado.

Socorro is survived by nine of her children, Juan Victor Ramirez Alvarado, Carmen Sellers, Rosie Ramirez Alvarado, Ricardo Ramirez Alvarado, Elvira Dorado, Sylvia Alvarado, Daniel Ramirez Alvarado, Jorge Ramirez Alvarado, and Ascencion Ramirez Alvarado, Jr., and her sister, Teresa Mejia. Socorro is further survived by 30 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
