Susan Kay Friend age 77 passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025, in Globe, Arizona.  Susan was born March 28, 1948, in Ohio to Willard and Kathryn Friend.

Susan graduated from Miami High School, then attended business college. She received her CNA designation and had worked in nursing industry for 35 years caring for others.

She was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.  She was a beloved mother and proud grandma, who always wanted to help others less fortunate.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents Willard and Kathryn Friend, sister Nancy Friend and her son Kelly Friend.

Susan is survived by her daughter Kristy and son-in-law Kevin Koval and grandchildren Michelle Moore, Brandon Koval and Heather Koval.

Family is being assisted by Bulman Miles Funeral Services Globe.
