Suzanna Georgia Becerra-Watkins, age 66, passed away on Sunday June 13, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. Georgia was born in Silver City, New Mexico on July 18, 1954, to Salvador Becerra and Eloisa Jimenez Becerra. She is survived by her only child, her daughter Angela Consuelo Becerra O'Brien, her three grandsons Anthony, Jonathan and Matthew O'Brien, her sisters: Mary Hazel Arguello (Allen), Elizabeth "Liz" Monroy, one brother William "Bill" Herron, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents: Salvador Becerra, (Eloisa) "Connie" B. Herron, brother: John Raul Becerra, Grandparents: Genaro (Juanita) Jimenez, Pablo (Bibiana) Becerra. Her nephew: Andrew "Andy" Davila whom she held very dear to her heart.

Suzanna was employed by KSIL radio Station in Silver City New Mexico as a radio host. She was also one of the first employees for the Snappy Mart Chain in Silver City, New Mexico. She participated in a test flight with Eastern Airlines as a flight attendant and received glowing recommendations from passengers. Suzanna was also employed by Bechtel Construction, James Hamilton Construction and T. Brown Construction. She also worked for Magma Copper Company in San Manuel before she decided to settle in Globe. Suzanna was employed by Diversified Solutions in the local office. She was a source of knowledge during income tax time for many. Some of her employment took her away from home and where she ventured to was Richmond, California, Albuquerque, Anthony, and Chama New Mexico. She was incredibly detailed, organized, dedicated, and took pride in all she had accomplished.

Suzanna was not only hardworking, but she also loved caring for her dogs and cats. Suzanna loved reading, swimming in the Gila River, dancing, listening to music, having family gatherings, working on her "projects", playing the lottery, and going to the casino. She had her own sense of fashion and style. She truly was one of a kind, genuine and generous. She had a loving heart, compassionate soul and clever mind. She was a fierce protector of her family especially of her boys: (grandsons) whom were the light in her life.
