Terry Adams, age 65, gained his angel wings and passed away peacefully on November 26, 2021. Terry was born in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to the copper corridor in 1971. In 1974 he met the love of his life, Cathy, and in 1976 they were married. Together they made their home in Mammoth.

Terry was truly a people person. He loved talking to and helping anyone he came across. Terry started his career working at Napa (Slaters) Auto Parts in Hayden. Terry never met a person or a car he couldn't fix. Terry spent the better part of thirty years helping people in the Copper Corridor find parts and fix their vehicles.

Terry loved giving back to the community. In 2018, Terry signed up to be the vice president/secretary for Mammoth Little League. Terry loved making snow cones and other treats for the kiddos and their families. When a child would come up to the concession stand to get a treat and didn't have any money, Terry would use his own money to purchase the treat. He loved bringing joy to others. In 2020, Terry took his community service a step further and ran for and won a seat on the Mammoth Town Council. A position he took great pride in.

Terry loved spending time outdoors camping with his beautiful bride and other family members. Family was at the top of Terry's list of favorite things. Terry was always up for any BBQ or family get-togethers that were suggested.

Terry had many hobbies beyond spending time with his family. Terry loved to collect model trains. He enjoyed watching TV specials on how certain trains were upgraded or how engineers solved problems with weight and speed. Terry also loved to build things or fix broken items. If you needed home improvements done, Terry couldn't wait to get started. Terry also enjoyed listening to music. His favorite genre was music from the 50s and 60s, or as the grandkids like to call it, "old people's music."

Terry was a long-time devout Christian. He spent many hours talking to his family and friends about Jesus. He served on the Board of Directors for the San Manuel Assembly of God for many years.

Terry was a loving, caring, funny man who would light up the darkest of rooms. He would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. Terry always had a joke or a hug if you were sad or down. He always knew how to make you feel better. He was always the biggest presence in the room.

Terry is preceded in death by his brother Gary White and in-laws Gerald and Aurelia Seevers. He leaves behind his wife Cathy; parents Frank and Wilma Adams; brother Frank Adams Jr.; children Annie (Albert) Martinez, Terry Jr (Amber) Adams, and Gina Medina (Bret Snelgrove); Grandchildren: Tori, Bella, Archer, Lexie, Zeke, Riley, and Addison; many brothers and sisters-in-law's, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and close friends. Terry will forever be missed by all who knew him.
