Antonio ( Tony)  Munoz Jr. aka Rhumbus died peacefully on July 24,2020 after a bout with cancer.

Tony leaves behind sons Tony Munoz III (Cristina), David and daughter Carmen Vasquez. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Tony was born on March 6, 1953 in Superior, AZ to the late Antonio C. Munoz and Aurora Chavez Munoz. His immediate family, sisters Carmen Munoz Gallegos of Mesa, AZ Frances Munoz Keil of Mesa, AZ, and brother Henry Munoz (Patricia)from Superior, and the late Eva Munoz Madueno. Tony was active in sports in his youth playing football and baseball and spending time at Benny Medina's Boxing club. He attended school in Superior, Az. Tony would spend his time in the White mountains as an active hunter, fisherman, hiker an overall outdoorsman. He loved to read about western history and Native American culture. He worked as an underground miner for Magma Copper Company prior to it's closing in 1982. Later on He would go on to work for Salt River Project at the St. Johns power plant before transferring to Mesa's South Side Maintenance Division for 25 years. Tony lived in Mesa, AZ, but would always come up to Superior to enjoy the town and friends he missed. He wanted to thank all of his friends who have been supportive of him in these trying times.The Munoz family also would like to thank you.
