Trancita Miranda

Trancita Miranda, a beloved mother, grandmother, and woman of deep faith, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, at the age of 101. Born on August 6, 1924, she lived a life rich with love, hard work, and devotion — a true testament to the strength and grace of a remarkable woman.

Trancita made her home in Claypool, Arizona, where she was a cherished member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her with quiet strength through every season.

She was a hard-working woman who dedicated years to serving the community, working as a housekeeper at Miami Inspiration Hospital before transitioning to caring for private homes. She continued this work with dedication until her retirement approximately ten years ago.

In her leisure time, Trancita found joy in the art of ceramics, the beauty of embroidery, and the meditative rhythm of crocheting. Her hands were never idle, and the things she created with them were expressions of a warm and giving heart.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Miranda (August 14, 1922 – March 24, 2006); her parents, Reyes and Tranquelina Garcia; her siblings, Sebastian Garcia, Juan Garcia, Felix Garcia, Issac Garcia, Tonito Garcia, Inez Ybarra, and Lupe Felix; her son in-laws, Juanio Gonzales, Robert Terrasas; and her cherished granddaughters, Lisa Terrasas and Victoria Gameros.

Trancita is survived by her four devoted daughters: Isabel Terrasas, Frances Gonzales, Gloria Hernandez, and Esther Klinger; two siblings, Rey Garcia and Felicitas Sancedo; as well as 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 36 great-great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-great-grandchildren — a testament to a life overflowing with love and family.
