Vada Ann Garcia born on December 4, 1942 in Christmas, AZ and passed away on November 2, 2020 in Tucson, AZ at the age of 77.  She was married to Louis O. Garcia June 23, 1962 and lived in Winkelman AZ for most of her life.  Vada is survived by a sister Myrna Mercer, who lives in Holbrook, AZ, a brother Jack Sanders of Las Vegas, NV, 5 children, Tony (Virginia) , David (Lynette) , Ed (Anna), Mona (Dennis)  and Philip; 9 Grandchildren, Anthony(Dana), Jacob(Kailah), Danny (Anna), Kaylee (Anthony), Kirstin, Richard, Daniel, Brenden, and Jason, along with 8 great-grandchildren, Isaac and Luciana, Aria and Alessi (on the way), Layla and Anthony, Dannyel, Dan Jr., and Scarlett.  Vada loved her family and especially enjoyed raising children. We will never forget our house being full of kids and Mom being patient and caring enough to give loving attention to all of us. She was ever busy trying to do all she could to provide for her family.  She sold Avon, and is remembered as the manager of the local video store. Mom and Dad enjoyed dancing and family activities such as camping and spending time at the Gila River and visiting the grandkids. She was an avid reader, loved solving crossword puzzles, and enjoyed playing Scrabble with her sister Myrna and her Mom.  She was loved very much and will be sorely missed. Mom, we can never thank you enough for all the sacrifices you made for us and your tireless efforts to try and teach us to be good people. We can only hope to be able to try and imitate your fine example of unselfishness and love of family. Nana Vada, you will always live in our hearts and memories.
