Vicente M. Ulibarri, 90, of Superior, AZ went to be with his Heavenly Father on December 13, 2021 at Having Nursing Home while in respid care. He was born in Sena, New Mexico on January 29, 1931 to Victorino Ulibarri and Frances Martinez.  He was the first-born son and brothers Alfonso (Vuti) And Emilo (Hélo) soon followed.

Their family moved to Jerome, AZ when Vicente was 9 years old. He attended school and graduated from Jerome High School. In the yearbook next to his picture it states, "Usually found pestering someone."

Vicente enlisted in the Army and served in Korea. After completing a 3-year term, he moved to Superior, AZ and began working for Magma Copper as an underground miner. He was given the nickname "Gordo" because he was so thin.

In 1957, Vicente met and married his life-long love, Esther. They raised 4 children; Debbie, Ricardo (Pito), Victor (Gado), and Kenny.

Vicente attended Arizona State University and earned a bachelor's in education.

Vicente has 4 grandchildren, 2 recent additions to the family, and 2 great-grandsons.

Vicente enjoyed camping in the White Mountains (with the Lopez family), going to the library and his Rosary.

We will always miss and love him.
