Wesley Nash age 94 of San Carlos passed away on July 24, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones. Wesley was born on September 21, 1926, in Old San Carlos Az to George and Mabel Nash. Wesley attended the Santa Fe Indian School and Bacone College in Oklahoma. At the young age of 15 Wesley enlisted in the US Navy where he served our country as a gunner during WWII. He then enlisted in the US Army and was in the 82 ^nd Airborne as a Paratrooper and Gliderman until 1946.

Wesley's love for the arts helped him to be a renowned artist. He painted a beautiful portrait of an Elder Storyteller at the Arizona Library. Wesley attended many art shows in California every five years. Not only was he a wonderful and talented artis but he was also an outstanding coach for the Girls San Carlos Basketball team, which took them to California and Greater Southwest area.

Wesley will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Mable Nash, his brother Daniel Nash, his sister Martha Begay, and his grandson Wesley Paul Jones. He is survived by his wife Anna Nash, his children Janet Nash, Sharon Nash, Cynthia Nash, George Nash, and Michael Nash along with 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren

Services were entrusted to Bulman Miles Funeral Services in Globe, AZ.
