William Ernest Acker

William, lovingly known as Bill passed into Heaven on November 4, 2024. He died peacefully at his home in Downey, California. He was 71 years old.

Bill was the son of Ernest Oton Acker and Rita Jorquez Acker, born on June 30, 1953 in Globe, Arizona.

Bill was outgoing, had a great sense of humor, quick witted and always had a joke to tell.

He enjoyed sports, food, and long conversations. He had a big heart and connected with everyone he met.

His career as an educator filled him with much joy and satisfaction.

Bill was a member of Saint Raymond's Catholic Church in Downey, California and a member of Knights of Columbus.

Bill is survived by his brothers, Phillip Karl Acker and Family of Redding, Calif, James Michael Acker and Family of Fort Mohave, Arizona, his sisters, Sandra Jean Acker McEntee and Family of Shasta Lake, Calif, Elizabeth Gail Acker Trujillo and Family of Moreno Valley, Calif.

Bill will be laid to rest, Friday December 6, 2024 in Miami, Arizona.

Services are entrusted to Bulman Miles Funeral Services in Miami, Arizona.
